Roper

Roper joined the ranch in the spring of 2011 as a 3-5 year old. He stands over 15 hands and is a striking paint overo with one blue eye. Roper was generously given to us by one of our brave military men who received relocation orders and could not take him along. Roper is a sensitive soul who doesn’t work with just anyone. He likes to choose his people carefully and when he chooses you, you’re friends for life. Roper made it very clear to us that he preferred a quiet life with just one or two people to love. He was overwhelmed by all the love and attention by being a ranch horse so we had to make the difficult decision to find him a new home. Roper was adopted by our very own farrier (person who takes care of horses hooves) and will live a simpler life helping to sort cattle and loving on our farriers daughter. We miss you Roper!
