Give to Lincoln Day is Wednesday, May 24, 2023!! This is the biggest year yet with a $500,000 proportional matching funds. This means that every dollar donated through the Give to Lincoln website will be increased proportionally, so if L5 Youth Ranch raises 11% of the $500,000 then each dollar given will be increased 11%. This fundraising day makes a huge difference to our operating budget each year. Our horses are taken care of and our programs are funded so we can continue to help Lincoln’s hurting kids and horses by providing hope and healing.  Online donations start May 1, 2023 at https://www.givetolincoln.com/nonprofits/l5-youth-ranch.

We are happy to receive donations in the form of cash, check, money order and “special interests” through our main office. If you would like to send your donation in the mail, feel free to send it to the following address:

Special Interests – Special Interest donations are those donations in which you would like to donate to go for a specific item. If you would like to make a special interest donation please specify on your check or money order what the donation is for.

Feed Bunks- We are in need of feed bunks, large troughs, or tractor tire type feeders to help reduce the waste of valuable hay.

Grass Hay or Alfalfa Mixture – L5 does have access to some pasture, however the amount of pasture cannot fully sustain the number of horses that we have. Therefore we supplement the horses with hay or a mix of alfalfa/hay at least part of the year to give the pasture time to regrow. Each horse should have at least half a square bale a day, and we currently have 8 horses. Thats 4 bales a day, 28 bales a week, 112 bales a month! Providing enough hay for our horses is a continuing necessity. If you are interested in sharing a donation of hay to the ranch, please feel free to give Matt a call at 402.525.9963 or email him at L5_Ranch@hotmail.com. If you would like to share a monetary donation to be used specifically for the purchase of hay during the year, please designate your preference on your check or money order. Thank you!

Equipment – Various types of equipment are needed for the upkeep of our property and program. We are always in need of tools such as rakes, plastic manure forks, buckets and shovels.

Horse Donation & Rescue – If you have a horse that you would like to donate, needs a new forever home, or know of one that is either being physically neglected or abused please contact us. Space is limited, but we will do everything we can to help a horse in need. In emergency situations we also accept horses from other rescues.
